These Fun Fun albums from the 80s and 90s brought us one of the best Italo Disco acts, with million-selling hits like “Happy Station,” “Color My Love,” “Baila Bolero,” and many more.
They first broke the charts in 1983 with their debut single “Happy Station” (specifically, the Ben Liebrand-created “Scratch Remix,” originally released on High Fashion Music), followed by a string of hits throughout the 80s and even into the 90s. One could say that Ben and High Fashion played a key role in turning Fun Fun into an unprecedented hit-making machine!

Recently, the “Le Disco” mixes of the iconic “Happy Station” and the upcoming “Le Disco” mixes of “Give Me Your Love” have proven that Fun Fun is still alive and in high demand among Italo Disco fans.

From Then… to Now!

It was time for what is likely the final and most complete CD compilation of Fun Fun, featuring all their hits in the original extended or 12” versions. This 2CD set includes all the extended edits and remixes released by High Fashion Music, including Ben Liebrand’s work, as well as the “Baila Bolero” remix by Marc Hartman, who recently passed away. All tracks have been remastered from the original tapes, with many sourced directly from the original multi-tracks, creating what is truly the ultimate—and likely final—Fun Fun compilation. We’ve named it “The Final Edition” because, as we boldly claim, “any attempt afterward can only be less.”

Ben Liebrand himself carefully selected and re-mastered each track—a lengthy process in which High Fashion Music encouraged him to go that extra mile to ensure this would be the best Fun Fun anthology ever. We dare to say: He succeeded.
