That is to say, the main character, divided by the total number of disciples forms the sum. We only count / divide the people present in the boat and not those who are of the ship (in contradiction to say Luke 5:1-11 where they, at first, sit in different ships and then later merge). So the summary of this second line is actually quite simple and goes as follows: 1855 ÷ 7 = 265
